Rapunzel Mango HIH is a delicious, sun-ripened dried fruit from fair trade in Burkina Faso. It is harvested when fully ripe, gently dried and thus retains its intense, sweet aroma. The mangoes come from Rapunzel HAND IN HAND partners who combine organic farming with fair trade, thereby supporting ecological and social projects.

Production:
The mangoes are harvested at the perfect stage of ripeness, peeled, sliced and gently dried in special ovens. This preserves the typical flavor as much as possible.

Recipe idea: Mango and coconut energy balls
Ingredients
- 100 g Rapunzel HIH mango, finely chopped
- 50 g cashews or almonds
- 2 tbsp coconut flakes + a little extra for rolling
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Preparation
- Soak the dried mango in warm water for about 10 minutes and drain well.
- Finely grind the cashews or almonds.
- Blend all ingredients in a blender or with a hand blender until sticky.
- Form small balls from the mixture and roll them in the coconut flakes.
- Leave the energy balls to set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, then enjoy!
