P.Jentschura Meine Base Body Care Salt pH 8.5 75 g
MeineBase alkaline mineral bath salt is the ideal choice for alkaline body care and is ideal for full baths, sitz baths, shower baths, foot and hand baths, and wraps. It ensures an optimal bathing experience with a pH value of approximately pH 8.5 in the bath water.
Alkaline body care has a long tradition dating back to ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. These cultures used baking soda, milk, or alkaline soap for their body care. In the past, liquid soft soap with alkaline values above pH 9.0 was also used in geriatric care.
In the traditional cultures of Japan and Mexico, alkaline baths lasting several hours are deeply rooted and are still practiced today to promote well-being and health. MeineBase continues this proven tradition with a pH value of pH 8.0 - pH 8.5, depending on the initial quality and hardness of the tap water.
Application:
For a full bath, a water temperature of 36°C to 38°C is recommended, and for foot baths, 38°C to 41°C. The bath should last at least 30 minutes, but ideally 45–60 minutes or longer to achieve the full effect.
Use three heaped tablespoons for a full bath, one heaped tablespoon for a sitz bath and one heaped teaspoon each for wraps, rinses and foot baths.
