Application:
BasenSalz offers a wide range of applications to promote deacidification through the skin, which is often understood as supporting the reduction of excess acidity. Its range of applications extends far beyond its use as a traditional bath salt for alkaline baths.
Alkaline bath: Transform your bathtub into a deacidifying wellness oasis with 3-4 tablespoons of BasenSalz. The optimal bath temperature is 36–37.5°C, which is the same as body temperature, with a minimum duration of 30 minutes to promote effective deacidification through the skin.
Alkaline hand and foot baths: Dissolve one teaspoon of BasenSalz in a bowl to enjoy a refreshing hand or foot bath. Here too, we recommend a water temperature of 36–37.5°C and a bath duration of at least 30 minutes.
Alkaline bath for little ones or as a sitz bath: Use 1–2 tablespoons of BasenSalz for a gentle baby bath or sitz bath. A laundry basket with a capacity of around 25 liters is a suitable container.
Natural deodorant substitute: A paste made from ½ teaspoon of BasenSalz and a little lukewarm water applied to clean skin under the arms has a natural odor-neutralizing effect. A tip for lovers of essential oils: refine the paste with a fragrance of your choice, such as lavender, for extra freshness.
Refreshing shower scrub: For invigorating skin care, mix a teaspoon of BasenSalz in the palm of your hand and exfoliate your skin in the shower, followed by a clarifying rinse with water.
Massage with BasenSalz: Combine your favorite massage oil with BasenSalz to create a nourishing salt and oil massage blend. This mixture can be used for a relaxing massage.
Sauna session with BasenSalz: Integrate BasenSalz into your sauna ritual by applying it to the skin after warming up and massaging it in gently. Showering is recommended after the sauna session.
Soothing inhalation: Half a teaspoon of BasenSalz in 2 liters of hot water supports cleansing inhalation. Use the classic method with a bowl and a towel or a modern inhaler.
